Community Policing

On this page, we invite you to discover the benefits of the community policing philosophy and approach.

Take a moment to ask yourself these questions:
        • Is my community interested in forming innovative partnerships with law enforcement?
        • Is the idea of sharing responsibility for my community's safety between residents and police appealing?
        • How can law enforcement and public education work together to enhance the lives of my community's youth?
        • Is it possible for businesses, health care service providers, churches, community groups and interested citizens to work with their police departments in creative ways to reduce or prevent drug and alcohol abuse, youth violence, graffiti, and other "quality of life" crimes?

Let's explore the answers to these questions together!
